I've always loved photography, and have been seeing beauty wherever I go since I was a boy. Basically self-taught, (with many influences and much help), I started working in a darkroom when I was still a teenager. I have embraced the "digital darkroom" with both arms open! I still consider myself most deeply interested in portrait photography. Though now I also take portraits of animals, dancers, flowers and the flatirons, and not just people I love and respect. I seek what's below the surface in all things, all forms, and try to capture that essence in an image. Please enjoy the images I have here; you are welcome to purchase any of them!
